This is my life now.

Okay, my church is having a gala on Friday, and PAPERDOLL gets to participate in the silent auction portion.

I’ve been really psyched about the opportunity.

BUT I’ve been so torn on what to put together.  I mean what will people bid on?? It’s not like I have a huge elaborate matching set of wonderfulness! I have purple pants, and wild culottes, and studded loafers.  You know what I mean? A grown woman isn’t going to bid on that, let’s be real. 

And then it came to me.

A Vintage Inspired Dress Up Trunk.

OMG it has been so fun.  I’m running around like a giddy little girl myself.  I think this one brings back memories for me…I would’ve killed for it.  I’ve got vintage dresses, gloves, jewelry, purses, scarves, and hats.  With Christmas coming, I think this may end up being a goodie afterall!

The only hang up I’ve had is that I’ve been trunkless.  Until tonight.  It’s all coming together, and you guys…well I’m just so happy about it. 

Maybe I’ll round up a few more items…I mean come on it’s for the chillins!

I hope some little cutie just falls for it.

This was sent to all of my girlfriends this morning from our friend Val, regarding Alex’s bachelorette party in Vegas…Made me laugh…

I have to tell you about my dream last night…

I dreamed that we were in Vegas for Alex’s bachleroette, and I got there a little late and still needed to get ready.  You guys were already wasted, and taking tequila shots.  Alex, you were wearing some frenchmaid outfit that said “it’s my bachelorette” and kelsey you were in this tight blue dress with a purple slip sticking out, and leopard tights.  It sounds weird, but you pulled it off.  I kept asking you guys if I went up to the room to get ready would you text me if you left the bar.  And you all were too drunk to give me a straight answer.  Audrey was there and started talking about her fiancee and annoying us.  And there was another group of girls at the bar celebrating their friend’s bachelorette and we were glaring at them and talking shit.  Kelsey you finally went up to the room with me to get ready, we cracked some tall boys, and turned on Jay Leno who was hosting his show from our hotel in Vegas.   And lo and behold Kristy was on stage, wasted, and puking all over his set.  She made headlines the next day, and Leno slipped in her puke and fell.

I would like to take a moment to clarify my previous post.  My bitchy best friend Kristy has just brought it to my attention that it’s bobbin; not a bobbit.

I think I’ve proved my point here that my sewing machine knowledge is limited.

As Sue would say on Glee, I’m further embarrassed.
